Elisabetta Gregoraci, was born in Soverato (Calabria) in Southern Italy.
In 1997, Elisabetta’s statuesque body and her stunning mediterrenean beauty won her the title of ‘Miss Calabria’ and of ‘Miss Smile’ in the ‘Miss Italy’ finals. This paved the way to her future, and indeed, at 18, Elisabetta moved to Rome to follow her dream. She started modeling for Dolce&Gabbana, Ferrè and all the main stylists. Shortly, Elisabetta got two cameo-parts in the highly successful Italian films, “Il cielo in una stanza” by Carlo Vanzina and “C’era un cinese in coma” by Carlo Verdone.
2000 marks Elisabetta’s debut in television, with several roles in TV serials and as a show presenter. In 2004 she was chosen as the Italian testimonial of the ‘Wonderbra’ brand at the International selections in Paris.
In 2005, Elisabetta’s beauty was immortalized by the lens of Angelo Gigli in a famous calendar, which was followed by a second one in 2007, also shot by Gigli. The same year she took part in ‘Ritorno al presente’, a popular reality show on Italian TV.
Elisabetta’s big break came in 2006, when she conducted ‘Sipario’, a primetime show on Rete 4. In 2009 she conducted a successful show, ‘Celebrity Bisturi’ and in 2010 she starred in a TV serial directed by Massimo Boldi, “Fratelli Benvenuti” In September 2012 Elisabetta proved to be an amazingly talented dancer, when she won the first edition of the celebrities dance show “Baila” on Canale 5.
Since November 2012 Elisabetta has been co-presenter on RAI 2 in the show : "MADE IN SUD", a successful comedy show where she has been able to show her acting skills.
Elisabetta has graced the pages and covers of glossy magazines such as “Capital”, “For Men”, “Boss” and “Fox Uomo”. She is very popular in Spain, where GQ Magazine named her ‘Woman of the year 2009’. Elisabetta is also well known in France, Germany, Great Britain and Bulgaria
Today Elisabetta splits her time between her work and her family. She has been married since 2008 to Italian entrepreneur Flavio Briatore and the couple has a son, Nathan Falco.
Elisabetta’s involvement in social causes range from her role as Ambassador for the ‘umbilical cord blood donation and storage’ to her charities associations for Children in both Italy and Kenya.
